lca pros and cons
Sorry about the question, but the search engine is down. I wanted to know if aftermarke lcas are worth the time and money, or are they just for the look at my shiny undercar stuff? I guess i want to know if i should buy lcas when i do coilovers, or should i spend the money on a good sway bar?
lcas are lighter, has holes for swaybar, but if you already have holes for swaybar, then you wouldnt need a new set of lca's unless your going for the under the car bling
They do come with new bushings in them. Some people get them for that reason alone. Do some research, I have seen a few posts about design flaws related to the movement of the bushings.

Most of the aftermarket LCAs are for looks. They can be lighter than stock, but how much that really helps is debateable in consideration of the price. It also seems most mount the swaybar in a different location than stock, whether thats good or bad is not something I know enough to comment on. If I were to get any, I'd go with http://www.function-7.com/a0-sus-info.html/. But since i don't feel the need to spend that kind of cash, I'm rocking the stock LCAs.
Get a good swaybar. I absolutely LOVE my Comptech bar. Its the best present a gf has ever given me.

i got new SPC (red) LCA's and i love them, only took about 30 min to install. i got it for the bushings and the bling factor! In the kit i also got spacers to go between the LCA and the sway bar bracket. this helped with the itr sway bar i have in correcting the pushing that it does on the bracket. very nice!
