That's the bottom line right there.

Depending on the quality you want, it can go anywhere from $200 to many thousands. Prepping the car and blending the paint into other panels are two of the main things. For example, if you want to have a hood painted, it can cost $150. However, if you want it matched perfectly to the panels around it (fenders, bumper), it can cost many hundreds additional for EACH panel.

 

I'm going to assume you want to paint your car and are researching for prices n such.
If my assumption is correct, how long are you planning on keeping the car?

Its just not worth it to spend 2k-5k for a blinging paint job if you are only planning on keeping the car for the next 1-2yrs.

 

By the time I'm done w/ the Buick it will be $6,000.00 +/- 1G
