Hey all..

I have a Honda Civic Si 2001. My battery was replaced now the radio wont work , asking for a code.

Does anybody know what that code is ?

call the dealer and give them your vin #. they will give you the code.

 

did you buy the car brand new? Do you have the owner's manual? If so, it should be in there!

Its a 2001 civic si , bought it from a used dealership , 6 months ago, i removed the battery. and now asking for this code.

nope! you have to get an access code for your specific car.

 

I was actually lucky enough to just call and they gave me the code over the phone but I don't think they are supposed to do this. You have to give them the serial number off the back of the CD player but they might be able to do it by VIN.

 

check to see if you have the owners manual its a sticker usually on the back
