Default Need advice on purchasing a car!

Need your advice on buying a ITR. There is this ITR my friend is selling with a salvage title with 57.000 miles on it, you think its worth 8,000 for it? I dont know too much about salvage titles, does it make the car depreciate in value? Can you guys explain to me the negative aspects of owning a salvage title car?

Why is it a salvage? The bad part about salvage vehicles--sucky resale, and usually, don't know what kind and the extent of the damage.

If you're planning on keeping it, buy it! If for reselling, don't. Well where are you located and if you don't buy it, I might consider, after he provides all the damage information.

I'm curious of what happened too. Any other info or pics of the car.

how could you not buy a Type R for only $8000. Just the motors/trans is worth $5000. Get it checked out by a professional and then BUY IT. People who buy type R's usually dont buy them to sell them and make a profit, they buy it becuase they love the car and know exactly what they want. But definately get it checked out by someone before buying it

how do i do a inspection on a ITR? What do you guys look for to make sure its not a lemon? Can you give me your expert advice in what componets i have to check to make sure its in good condition? And After the purchase, what kind of alarm should I install to ward off theifs, I live in the city and I dont want it to get tampered with. Thank you for your opinions. Peace

look for this "Looking To Purchase ITR? Car buying tips"
in the FAQs

searching would have answered your question before posting it.

But if you need advice, then watch this video. http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/posting.php
