Default MY BABY WAS SIDESWIPED TODAY

damn it! my fiancee has been driving my sweet integra around for the past few months. this car is my past project and is not really fast, but it is an excellent daily driver with a great suspension, etc. 1995 Integra LS. thank god she is alright; no harm done. but she just called me and said my other love has a big dent in the passenger side rear quarter, so here i am ranting and such. here are some pics of what it used to look like:

i'll update later with pics of the damage and the ******* responsible as soon as i hear back and get pics from my fiancee. !&^%*!@^^*!@$!! i just picked up a new damn clutch for this car!! and some other parts! sonofabeeotch i'm stoked.

I average about 400 miles a week in city driving amongst the morons--for the last 50K miles on my odometer. Time to concentrate on defensive driving and Ninga-like awareness. Only fender-bender I have had was when a lady (term used loosely) on Zanny bars didn't yeild to oncoming traffic making a left on green, and that oncoming traffic was me. Received $800 bucks for a slight ding in front bumper. Good luck fixing your quarter panel. Nice teg btw.

heh she called me at 1347hrs (1:47 for those of you living in America oblivious to the rest of the world), said she'd call back when the cops were done, and she still hasn't called back almost 90 minutes later. i hope she has the good sense not to leave the car alone for 5 seconds. stupid SUV drivers. dammit! i don't know whether to abandon that car as a project and just get it fixed and leave it alone or continue making it better. i hope to god the frame isn't bent, anyhow. just an excuse to go buy my new project a new turbo see, i can look at the bright side of things. i'll make some excuse out of this to try to pass off spending $600 on a GT28R

UPDATE: okay so she called me back about 15 minutes ago. it was a parking lot accident, not at an intersection or something. she was stopping for a stop sign going 0-1mph when a woman driving a Jeep SUV (I KNEW IT WAS A DAMN SUV DRIVER!) didn't stop completely at a stop sign and slowly rolled into the right rear quarter panel for a few seconds until the Jeep driver figured out what was happening and hit the brakes. then my fiancee, by some wonder of nature, decided that the other woman was being very nice about everything and, after getting all sorts of information, tons of pics, and filing on site with the Jeep driver's insurance company, decided to not call the cops and both leave the site. my fiancee wanted to be nice to the woman so she wouldn't get a ticket. damn it! i said "it's not your fault, so CALL THE DAMN COPS!" i was thinking "you're Puerto Rican, dammit! you're SUPPOSED to be a bitch sometimes (okay, more than sometimes )! i don't understand her somtimes. anyways, the damage must not be so bad. upon inquiry she said the suspension is all straight and untouched, so she was able to drive away with no (new) noises from the car. she was with a friend, BTW. the friend was like "car, car, CAAAARRR!" haha.

I hate SUV drivers primarily for this reason. They think they so damned safe in that huge POS that they tend to be oblivious to whatever's around them. They talk on the cell phone all the damned f*cking time while cutting you off and not aware that they almost ran you off the road. **** EM. Good luck with the repairs.....I would have called the cops and did everything else your fiancee did. Dumb bitches like that need to learn how to drive!!!!

hehe BTW chris, not to rub it in but a little boost goes a long way in not being run off the road. esp. at highway speeds w/ my super short 0.838 5th gear. mwahahahaha . . .

you sure about that? if so then i would feel a lot better.

BTW we've got pics and receipts of everything on the car, so if the repair shop tries to debo the car or take whatever i'm going to be eating caviar from their skulls! bitches. auto repair shops all too often are full of low-life scum, but i know a couple that aren't, thankfully. already got an appointment for an appraisal and a rental car at the same time see? geico isn't bad. i've had them for a while and never had anything serious to complain about except they didn't buy me a new ferrari when my del Slo was totalled.
