Default So Close yet so far. Another high HP single cam delay.

It's been a while since I post. The Supras have been taking up alot of time.

I'm ordering some parts while my turbo gets rebuilt since I broke and bent some fins on the compressor wheel when the alternator belt broke.

My questions are at the end.

I'm including the details of the build in hopes to get some expert attention and show this isn't just another smoke project.

D16z6 block, y8 head (Exospeed sleeves -- I do not recommend them unless you are VERY patient):
Ceramic coated Arias Pistons 75.5mm 9:1 c/r
Eagle Rods with ARP rod bolts
OEM Honda Bearings
Step decked.
AEM Pulley Set
AEM Cam Gear Y8
Balanced and blueprinted.
Y8 head:
70mm BBK Throttle body
Edelbrock Intake Manifold
Port n Polish
Titanium Retainers
Performance Springs
Rev Valves
3 Angle Valve Job
ARP studs
Custom Exospeed Camshaft (Crower turbo Stage 2 -- sitting on standby)
Driveline includes:
ACTION 2MS Clutch
Quaife LSD through a z6 tranny
Axles -- nothing yet.. Here is one question!
Fuel System
Walbro 255 fuel pump
RC 1000cc injectors
AEM Fuel Filter
AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator
AEM Fuel Rail

Suspension and stopping power.
SPC front camber kit
SPC rear camber kit
SPC rear toe kit
Rear disc conversion using a DelSol trailing arm.
Energy trailing arm busings
Cadmium Brembo drilled rotors all around
Steel braided brake lines
No-name coilovers... - Here is question #2!

Boost comes from
GT 30/40R Turbo (www.phoenixturbo.com)
FMIC is 24x8x3 (www.ebay.com)
Tial 44mm Wastegate
Tial 33mm BOV
GM Boost Solenoid (www.horsepowerfreaks.com)
CMS (Chavez Motorsports) custom charge pipes - sweet!
CMS custom downpipe and 3" exhaust - no muffler.

Autometer Cobalt Series gauges:
Boost, Fuel Pressure, Oil Pressure
Nitrous Pressure and EGT
AEM 1020 standalone
PWR Radiator

I'm in the process of adding a meth kit since I've already killed one WB sensor (Bosch that comes with the AEM) in less then 1000 miles due to leaded fuel. I might just switch to a PLX since it holds up better, but not right now.

My questions are:
Axels:
Gator is not really wanting to make me a set unless I go full custom and have a machine shop make the parts he'll put them together. Driveshaft shop is telling me they wont warranty the axels unless I "upgrade" my quaife diff to a zc diff in order to have the larger spline to hold the power. Thoughts comments welcome. New bearing will be pressed in at the time of the new axle install.

Suspension.
What, why, how and where. This won't be a big deal for me until all the bugs are fixed, but since I'm going to spill my guts I might as well get this question out of the way. -- mind you this is for a 96 HX coupe.

Fuel:
At what point will I start running out of fuel from the pump and stock hoses to the engine bay... more out of curiosity.

1. Whats your budget? How much power do you want to make?

2. Whats your budget? A simple set of Koni or Tokico shocks and Ground Controls will do.

3. 255 HP pump with stock lines have supported over 600whp.

DOH! Yeah. it's not a 33mm BOV, I'll look it up.

Zubaltec, budget for what? The suspension? It's as important as it is. I don't want to go on a pro budget either, but funds are available to do it right.

Stock lines to 600hp... interested - thanks for the imput.

Koni or Tokico shocks and Ground Controls are cheaper and will work for you.
Or you could get a set of Omni powers or Strange shocks if money not an object. These last 2 have been proven this year to work better in an all out race application.
