Well i got bored and cut my front bumper, i dont know i should round off the edes or just leave it boxed like it is.

 

i think it would have looked better with rounded edges

 

Granted it looks badass...it also just doesnt look right....I think it's cut too far up.

well i had to have it that high because my FMIC is mounted upside down(only way i could get it to work)

 

I am also getting a bigger FMIC so it will be recut to benifit the new one. so i will be rounding those edges off.

What engine and how much boost are you running?

If you get an oversized IC, you will get pressure drop....

d16z6, dsm 14b, 7 psi. I was running a smic befor and when i upgraded to the larger FMIC, and Larger Pipeing i actually got better boost, and all. No loss in Psi. actually gained. And i know about the risk of loseing psi, but that why the make Boost controlers.

shoulda looked into a JRC 6".

how much of a pressure drop did you experience going from the SMIC to that monstrosity?

Yea DAMN taht's way too big. I had an IC on my Accord (2.3L, 150hp) that was running 7psi...and that thing was like 10" tall by 18" long...why are you using one bigger than that to push air from an engine almost 1 liter smaller?
