Default Skunk2 Racing drag launch kit?

Anyone testes Skunk2 Racing drag launch kit? Is it worth 350$? Is it really useful on 1/4 mile?

i think its the offered spring rate that helps. i'd imagine the drag launch kit is better suited for drag racing then any available coilovers.

I have no complain about the drag launch kit. The only thing is that they are too stiff for a daily driver. I guess the warning label was right, "Not for use on highway".

It is good for drag use only. Use it with a set of Koni shocks and its pretty much good to go.

Where did you see it at for 350?? That's a bit high

Just uncomfortable, especially on long drives it beats the **** out of you. I also have mine on kyb agx on #4(stiff), that might add a little more.

Best 60ft I hit was also a 1.67 with the Skunk2 rear springs and I'm on Tockio Blues the cheapo struts. I drive on them every day....... I don't find them that bad on the street. Rob

1.67 is badass. what size and kind of tires? DRs? slicks? etc. wow, looks like its time for me to get a set. i have an h22 in my car though, should i go with the EG kit or the integra kit? or is it all the same? lol

i got a 1.72 60' with these coilovers with stock shocks in the rear turbo car at ~450whp and 24.5" slicks. as far as streetability dont expect to be able to take turns crazy fast bc you def feel the bumps. Good compromise to me though...

You can also do the same thing with ground control coilovers. They use Eibach springs, and you can call and order any spring rate you want.

Best 60' for me also was a 1.67 with Skunk2 Drag launch rears 900 lb/in and KYB AGX set at full stiff, in my heavier 00 Si Coupe it wasn't that bad on the street IMO even at FULL STIFF for the KYBs all the time
