Hi, I'm having a little bit of a problem if you couldn't tell. My 97 civic has been sittin' outside for quite some while and so the battery went dead, I thought okay no biggy but then I went and recharged the battery. So when I put the battery back in the car, what it does is it acts like the key is in the ignition because the gauges are on, I checked the fuses and they act the same way. I say that because my autometer gauges light up when the key is NOT in the ignition. But worst of all my Apexi Rev/Speed Meter isn't working but i'm going to check into that tomorrow. PLEASE if anyone can give me the slightest help i would appreciate it.
from what it sounds like you may have your gauges connected to a wire that is always hot, which is killing the battery. Not sure if this will help but it was worth a shot to help ya out.

Well its not just a matter of my autometer gauges its a matter of dash gauges being on such as my e-brake, s.r.s. and seatbelt light. This is really bringing me down and I don't know what to do, but thanks for the help.
Did you wire everything up your self like rewire a new gauge cluster or has it worked before until this? Im thinking check out the wiring cause if they come on without the key while the battery is in, something might be hot all the time. Hope it helps!
