Help! Spark Plug question applicaiton specific
I am about to boost my car but I am not sure when I will have time to put all the parts on since I am at college and I need my car right now. My question is whether or not I should get colder plugs for the turbo now before I put the turbo on? Will this affect performance at all? I don't want to get plugs now and have to replace them in a month.
Thanks!
Thanks!
i don't know how much sparkplugs are over there, but here they're around 10 bux for all 4. (ngk zfr6f-11)
i'd just swap them out now cuz 3 years is a looong time.
edit: are you planning on turboing the stock motor? if so, make sure it's still healthy (still has good compression).

I only have around 52k-53k miles on it. I bought it with only 25k on it. The motor is still fresh but yea I guess that wouldnt be a bad idea. Spark plugs are about the same price over here, but my question was which ones to get? Should I get colder plugs for the turbo or stock plugs for now because I dont want to have to switch them out after a few weeks.
Thanks!
Thanks!
