I think I'm going to pick up a bored out TB from S&PITR cause he sold his R. It's a trade for stock one + 100.00.
1) is that a good deal?
- it was done by Leisch & Bush in canada, I believe 70mm down to I think 4 mm above stock.
2) should you do the manifold too?
3) any increases or is it with more mods = more gains...
My set up will include:
Injen CAI
JDM 4:1 Header
Godspeed Testpipe
VAFC
Toda Spec A Cams, Toda cam gears
JDM Final Drive
Port Flow Valve springs
bored out TB
that's it for now, gotta get outta debt.

Marc i also had my TB bored out along with Dustin's at the same time. It is 62mm stock. Bored out to 64.5mm tapered to 70mm i believe. You will feel more throttle response for sure and maybe 1-2 hp on the dyno. From what i understand you do not need to match the intake manifold. Just my .02

You won't need to port match it if you already have the ITR IM.
You should feel a bit better throttle response and some minor gain, but I am not sure if you can feel it with your *** dyno!!

When the hell did you get Spec A's and Toda Cam gears?

I have mine TB bored by L&B.
You dont have to match port the ITR IM or any new gasket.
You will need to port the IM if you get the BBK TB.

I had mine done by L&B (who does all my machining). They bored it out to 64.5 and did 70mm at the opening. The manifold requires no porting as it can handle that diameter.
Yes, on the dyno.. Spoon throttle body.
Less than 1hp peak. Approximately 1/2hp everywhere else.
Not worth it, IMO.
