Best tip I can give is to elaborate on the car and set up. Is it a bone stock SI or is it pushing 500 hp? Is it on Slicks, Drag Radials, shitty street tires?
your best bet is to start at about 2500 rpm and drop the clutch. if it bogs just raise the rpm's. every launch could be different because of the many factors that affect the physics of the launch like......track surface makeup, track surface prep, track temp., type of tires......etc.etc. your best bet is to start low in the rpm's and work your way up till you find the lowest revving point where the car breaks traction and goes into full wheel spin. then use that set rpm point in your launch and feather the clutch to limit wheel spin. thats about the best explanation i can give you without physically being in the car with you or launching the car myself to find the optimal rpm's for you. there's no perfect launch routine that works in every car cuz every car is different. just practice, practice, practice.
