Default Anybody plz answer is that dangerous to have a BBK without ABS?

I had been searching awhile for big brake kit for 4th gen lude. Just in theory, will it be easier to lock up the wheel? durring rain? I'm actually so worry about that my lude doesn't have ABS. Currently read that AEM and SSBC are good.

By anychance, is it possible to add ABS? time x work?

Any information is appreciated.

abs is mostly for soccer moms who cant keep the whell straight while breaking, also it is possible to stop quicker w/o abs than with, so its perfectly fine to run w/o abs, just if ur unsure read up on good braking techniques and what not

thanks, that really eased my worry. I still remember the time when i slide through the red light and stopped in the middle of intersection. It was sure scared the crap out of me. Luckily, there was no police or cars coming out from that direction. Oh, and it was quite a while ago.

Okay, the main reason that wheels lock up is because the brake pads are too hard, heat up way too fast, and fuse to the rotor, causing the wheel to lock up. It doesn't matter so much how large your brakes are, just get the right pads. i recommend axxis semi-metallics, worked very well for me. However, whats your reasoning for upgrading to a bbk anyways?

hahah, well, to be honest with you, I think it's for the look.

However, there are more practical stuff like more durable and better quality ride? I believe it does help a better braking performace from the articles that I read.

Please feel free to correct me.
