Default Engine Block Question

So I am in the process of building an LS/vtec for my 1986 honda Accord Hatchback. There is a spot on the block that will not be used anymore and I was wondering how other people plugged it. I was thinking of taking a bolt and sticking it in the whole with some kind of sealent on it. Let me know what you guys think

Just use a bolt and wrap it in teflon tape and block it off. Thats one of the holes where the Endyn breather kit uses.

Nice oil sandwich. Just put one on my car and it works great as long as you use the correct AN line. Don't try heater hose even to get by for a day. lol Dumbest idea i had yet.

I will be running PRI mounts that I purchased off a member of the 3geez forum. Jkob made my sub harness and rywire made my engine harness.

Yeah i think the bolt/plug with sealant would be perfect. I believe permatex or someone makes stuff specifically for sealing threads, like some headstuds need to be sealed so they use that thread sealer. Try permatex or locktite they should make some.

What would be the benifits of crankcase evac. I know it realeases the pressure from the block, but would it even be benificial in my case? If not I am going to just plug it with a bolt and sealant.

they really tight on there but they will come off. they are like the oil pan drain plug its a crush type washer inbetween that seals it. its on there pretty tight.

Use a 14mm hex allen key. . . I used a allen key with an extended bar, more torque, to pull mine out.

I cant use a allen key, because there is a whole in the spot where the allen Key goes. I think some vice grips and an extention bar will work. hayabusa160 I will PM you about those plugs if I can remove the others.

I used vice grips to get the drivers side off on my ls/v because the damn thing didnt have the hex hole either.

Are u runnign stock block or high comp? If you are running a raised compression ratio than u sure can benefit from hookin up a a catch can.
