I'm looking for new ac compressor for my car. There are two types of compressors and I don't know where to look into. Where can I find it? 1991 DX hatch.

 

2 types? i am assuming the kind that you speak of is r12 or r134a. being a 91, if it hasnt been converted it is r12. you can tell by looking at the charge ports. if they are thread on, it is r12. if it looks like a quick connect air line, chances are it has been converted to r134a.

 

why are you posting about a 91dx on a 92+ civic board? I know the trf090 and trs090 compressors for our civics, but you'd probably get better results posting on the right board.
