i put a gsr in my 95 civic coupe last week and it sometime idles up and down from 1000 to 1500 rpm so i cleaned the iac valve with break cleaner and it still does it. i know there is another vavle under the throttle body that can go bad too but not sure what its called. are the iac valves and that other valve interchangable with any other honda engines? ( b16, ls , d16)

 

the other valve is the fast idle thermo valve.

 

make sure you check all gaskets on your IM also, throttle body gasket, and IM gasket, and check for vacuum leaks.
