those tweeters... do they make any noticable difference? I was looking for some a while ago but never found any, although its not one of my top priorities to get some I just wanted to ask about them.

 

yes, they do make a difference... the midrange speakers (6.5 and was it 5 1/4? for civics) can't make clear high frequency sounds since the speaker itself can't move back and forth as fast... tweets use tiny materials that allow it to move at much higher frequences so the upper ranger frequencies 10K+ are reproduced more accurately. there are 2-way and 3-way speakers that have tweets incorporated.. if you have the regular one-way midrange, tweets will definitely give an improved sound... a sub will also improve those lower notes
