Default JDM LS motor question

how does the jdm ls motor get that extra hp and trq?

a small .2 bump in compression (9.2-9.4)

In addition the JDM ECU's are usually a bit more agressively tuned.

so basically the only difference between the usdm and jdm is the compression nothing else at all...like head assembly or sensor locations ect.

would the JDM ECU Work well in a USDM 98 Integra LS or would there be tuning issues due to the .2 diff in COMPression?

Will I see gains with A JDM ECU

yes it will feel a bit stronger, i swapped my b18a1 with about the same amount of miles for the jdm b18b and it was much better

You probably won't feel any difference. However, you will now have a speed limiter at a pretty low speed. Aren't JDM Honda Integras limited at like 113-120 or something?

EDIT: ....not that you should be driving that fast anyway. ::cough::

when i first swapped the jdm motor in i was on the stock obd0 ecu. Im now converted to obd1 and on hondata(much better than the stock ecu)
