ok. i did the mpfi swap and got it running code free first try then my idle went wacko. i fixed that now theres a whorable screaming girl wissle. at ~2-3.5K while accellerating. also it bogs and feels like it's missing at idle espesaly in drive. (it's an auto) in N it still does it but not as hard.
i've allready replaced the rotor cap spark wires and plugs. and made sure all the injectors are running sequentily (they are) it's running a virgin EX auto ecu (ps9)
again no codes, no vacume leaks, idle is with in spec, injectors are good, idk what else to check.
one note i found. on DPFI the injectors and fuel pump are wired together. in MPFI there not. however according to the instructions. in mine i hooked up the common fo the injectors to the power in the drivers shock mount plug. should thease be seperated?

About the whistle I cant help you. If it were me I would seperate them. One more thing, you should check your fuel filter and or replace it. Is the car really rusty. I had an older 88 rex with a **** load of rust. same problem. i replaced all injectors checked and rechecked wiring and everything. ran bottles and bottles of fuel injector cleaner and changed the fuel pump. turned out that the bogging was caused from rust in my fuel lines. sounds like a bitch but its worth the effort and the little money they cost. Once i changed the fuel lines out car ran perfect no bogging!
