hey, im planning to go check out an ek soon, what should i look for wen buying a car? any insight is appreciated . thx

 

when buying an usdm EK your getting a base model civic so, look for a good body with no damage and get ready for a swap or turbo. in a weird non-powerful, non-graceful handling kinda way i like my ek more than my other two cars (see sig.)

 

im buying a civic dx if that helps

 

look for a good body, check the rear quarter panels for rust. Drive it, check for noises, if you can, try a compression check see if everything is sound

 

rust, dings, dents.....

 

what everybody else said and it would'nt hurt to get a car fax just to see if it was ever wrecked or been in a flood or something
