I just finished a b16 swap in my friends 96 civic and have everything hooked up but the idle jumps up and down from the second its started(sounds like a vaccum leak almost). I have teh coolant bleed, i checked the iacv and replaced it but that doesnt seem to be the problem. When i disconnect the tps and start it it idles fine but then i cant hit the gas .........i built the car from a shell and it has the original harness so maybe i have something wired up wrong? i aslo have a map sensor hooked up but idk if i have it hooked up right but i have the line coming off the top of the throttle body goin to it but i dont know.......im puzzled.............there was also a 3 wire plug on the back of the motor that i did not hook up help me out here guys thanks

 

is it throwing any codes? .....maybe that 3 wire plug goes to the map sensor!?

 

i cant tell if its throwing codes because it doesnt have a guage cluster right now and my scanner wont read it becuase it has a obd1 comp with the ecu conversion harness.......i have the right plug hooked up for the map because i checked it against another civic but the one plug i dont have plugged in is more rectangular......idk what it could be i keep checking evrything
