FS: Y1 LSD B16A CRX CABLE Transmission trans tranny
Hi, I am selling my Y1 LSD B16A cable trans. It has not been used on my car for to long, however it has a 4th gear slight grind. I am the head installer at JK Motorsports http://www.jkmsports.com, and If you are willing to pay $225 for a complete Gear-Speed syncro set, I will install it for you at no extra cost before shipping. Gear-speeds come 1-2 OEM new, and 3-5 carbon coated, and will not grind! I am asking $650 for the trans, SHIPPED. This does have Limited Slip! If you are interested, email me at madaccord@hotmail.com. I can take pics, the trans is still in my car, and local test rides are welcome..Its extremely clean, and has only been installed for about 5000 miles since I built my all motor b16a. If interested, I can throw in the Exedy stage 1 clutch cable cluth that is installed for $150..I paid $275, and it has the same milage as the engine/trans...5000 miles. Only serious buyers please ask questions. I am asking a very fair price for an LSD trans! To the person that buys, you will get complete pics of the transmission while being rebuilt, and of the LSD, etc. If you want the gear-speeds, I only ask for a deposit of $225 to order the parts, when the work is complete, the tranny cost will be expected. Thanks for looking!

The only way it will fit, is if you get the lsd, ring gear, and countershaft and put all the gears from the J1 on the Y1 countershaft. Reason being, the Y1 is a 4.266 final drive, and the J1 is a 4.4...and Honda never made a 4.4 ring gear to fit the LSD in the Y1. Hope that helps.

Ah, working on transmissions is really easy actually. I have to do it all the time to install gearspeed syncros. I figured after I built my first engine, it was time to attempt the transmission! Take care, Mike
How hard would this be to swap into a 91 Integra? I'm very interested in buying this if it isn't too difficult as my current tranny is on its way to grenading itself (makes all kinds of nice grinding sounds while moving in gear
)
EDIT: This is the factory LSD correct?

It is factory LSD, and its still available. I suggest putting Gear speeds in this trans, as it has a grind..very typical of cable transmissions.
I'll have to do some research on the swap, never changed a tranny before. I have a YS1 at the moment ready to blow. If I do go about purchasing this I will have you install the Gear Speeds and the Exedy. I'll let you know what's going on when I get out of work 6 hours from now.
How should I go about paying you? I've decided that I do need this tranny. I would like the Gear-Speeds and the clutch as well. Hit me back when you get the chance.
Well it just blew up 20 minutes ago.
So I'm gonna need that tranny as soon as you can do it. This really sucks I'm out of a car and have work in 45 min. I dunno let me know what's up when you get the chance please.

Hey, sorry the trans is sold. I still have the Exedy clutch tho. I took it off, and its mint. If you get another transmission that is a y1, j1, or s1, let me know, as this clutch will fit it. I can give you pics if you need, just email me at madaccord@hotmail.com. Thanks, Mike
