I just picked up 91 dx hatch with 160000 miles on. I was wondering what would be the best set up for suspension? I've been looking at H&R race lowering springs. I've got it down to $225 with shipping. Thanks guys

 

H&R race springs on stock shocks is a waste..You should get an aftermarket shock for those..

Tein s-tech springs are good for stock shocks and cost about $100 new on ebay..

 

i would go with coilovers but thats me. 225 is alot for springs.

 

im a fan of tokico illuminas and eibach prokits.

 

I going to order H&R race 2.25 drop lowering springs. for the set up, would it be better to go with tokico(blue) or Kyb?? some say it's better to buy the tokico since I'm going for 2.25 drop. others say, it's better with KYB with extention. Also if I ignored the shocks and go with stock how long would it last??
