Rear Interior on a 4th Gen
Yeah - I don't have pictures, but I took my rear interior(just the seats) out to run some wires.............i'll try to take pics, but it might take a while........its a bitch getting those seats out........maybe i'm just too impatient though.
Are you doing this for weight reduction?

it'll look like crap - but who cares?...........ha
hmm........this might be counter productive - but everywhere I have large quantities of bare metal, i put dynamat there - it makes it look better IMO.........the good dynamat - not that fake stuff........
I took out my trunk interior and i filled it with dynamat........i plan to do the same everywhere else in the car - it also helps to keep road noise out.

I disagree here. There are alternative sound deadening materials that are way cheaper than Dynamat brand, and in some cases stick better. I would recommend b-quiet.com ultimate, which everyone loves, or eDead from edesignaudio.com (which I haven't used but I hear it's good).
Anyway, Dynamat isn't a road noise barrier. It reduces panel resonance. If you have a stripped interior, it will probably help with the noise a little just because you have exposed panels that are probably resonating a little with the tire and exhaust noise. But it will not "block" noise. Plus, it will almost completely negate your weight shaving project.
If you want to strip your interior and have a quiet car, I recommend Ensolite, which is a foam (foam absorbs or blocks noise) specifically made for cars by raamaudio.com. Go to that website to check it out and then email rick@raamaudio.com for an order. I have it in my car and I like it.
As for the original question, taking out the rear interior is a piece of cake. It all just pulls apart. The hard part is putting it all back together nicely; not so much with seat cushions but with the plastic panels.

I was talking about the ultimate - but the point of putting dynamat inside my car was not meant to have a quiet ride - it was mean just to have a neat look in the car - we're not putting in sound systems or anything.
We don't care about a "quiet" car.........the quiet comment - was just extra..........
The point is to do weight reduction, but I don't like the bare metal look - so i use the dynamat instead.
I know - this is just what I DO. I'm not taking my interior out - the other guy is. I said that it is counterproductive - you're saying everything i already said.
