Hello all. I am wanting to mount a laptop in my dash compartment. I found a nice hewlett crappard that fits almost perfectly in the glove compartment. What id like to know first however, is what are the laws on having a screen that big in your car? The screen size is 12.1 inches. It doesnt touch my glass or anything.

Will the cops pull me as soon as they see it sitting over there or is it ok to mount them in a certain part of the car? I heard as long as it isnt obstructing the drivers view that its ok. What I am wanting to do mainly is use it for GPS and hopefully a little later on, on the fly tuning with turboedit.

Just make sure that the screen can't be seen from behind. Just in case...
