Honestly, i would say you are burning very small amounts of oil. Not enough to really hurt anything. I used to get the black coating every week with my d-series, which burnt about a quart every 2 weeks, then my b-series went in with a fresh build i never saw the black crap again.

if my oil level is stable and not dropping , do you think it could be my rings?
from the block before I burned a lot of oil as well as leaked , leaked all over the header and exhaust under the front of the car. Possible it could be the remains of that?

I disagree.
I would say it's probably fuel. My freshly rebuilt motor does the same thing (although I notice no spots on the back bumper, just on the white license plate) and doesn't burn a drop of oil between changes.

when i went wit a 2.5 kteller non resonated cat back i noticed the same black spots on the back of the car. so i think its between running rich and lack of filtration in the exhuast. i also go a car sound cat

run your finger across it, if it wipes clean and onto your finger it's probably fuel. if it smears/streaks across the bumper, then it's probably oil.
