new guy here. having CRX throttle issues
I am a Nissan lover, who works at Magic Toyota in Edmonds, WA and I have a Mercedes c230k. hahahhahaha SO, I now have an '89 CRX. D15 engine and it's a fun lil car to drive to work and back. either way, I need to know why my throttle gets stuck at around 2k rpm. it'll just stay there. no reason that I can discern.
****I tried the search, but it's down for now****
what can I do? is this a normal thing?

I can't really see how the injectors would have much to do with it. it goes through the rev band up to redline just fine, but on it's way down, it just stops at 2krpm and stays there till I physically force it back to idle with my foot behind the pedal
even when I am under the hood it'll do it.

disconnect the cable from the t/b and from the pedal and move it back and forth with your hand make sure its not binding up
also maybe the spring on the pedal is weak, the t/b could also be sticking remove the intake hose and move by hand while you're in there clean the throttle plate with cleaner
