Default H22 JDM Vtec Cluster in a H23 Non Vtec car

has anyone put in a jdm vtec cluster in a non vtec car? if so, is the rpm's calibrated or will it still redline at 6200 instead of 7400? any problems with it? thanks.

the redline is literally jsut that, a red mark on the cluster. if you want you can see about putting a tach that has a red mark at 10k rpm....
