Default My dyno...not sure if I should be impress.

I dont know but I think my power is kinda of low: Here's what I made

177hp and 120ft lbs. Vtec crossover at 5500 and peak power @ 8700. Did about 20 runs I swear and felt so sorry for the motor. Tune by Turbo tune@ Greensboro, NC

-96 Jdm ITR / LSD
-Buddy club spec IV cams, gears, dual valve springs, and retainers
-Chipped p28 w/ hondata s200
-Skunk2 68mm throttle
-B&M fuel pressure and guage
-DC headers 4-1 2.5 collector
-Rsr exhaust
-HKS filter
-rc 370cc injectors
-skunk2 manifold

Picture bit blurry so bare with me.

177.68 hp and 120.35 lbs of tq. 91.68 degrees with 32% humidity

I hope its about right....the tuner guy said that my cat is robbing me with about 7-8 hp and If i didnt have that...he probaly could of made it to about 180-183....

oh just missed that you have cams. Hmmmm, ditch that DC header and get a real header that will produce the power you want to make

i'd say take off the cat, and up the compression a little. you'll hit 200 in no time.

and i agree about the header.

sounds like a lot of air into the motor, but getting choked out the back.

With a bit more compression, a better header, and freer-flowing exhaust, I suspect you'd be very near 200 whp.

Lets see the graph.

I say it is low, however you dont have enough compression for those cams. Even though the ITR is supposed to have 11.0:1 compression, you have to remember that those cams are bleeding off some of that compression. So are really only seeing like 10.3:1.

Bump up compression and you should see the numbers you want.

I'll assume you mean Turbo Tune in Greensboro, since Mark there is the only certified Hondata tuner around. I've had him tune a S200B on my car with a couple of different setups and he's tuned a few others that I know of. Mark tunes very conservatively, and very quickly, plus he's tuning on a dynojet, so part-throttle/drivability tuning isn't done. I took it to Jason at Eurospeed making 277 WHP with a Turbo-tune tuning job and Jason made 345 WHP with the same boost level (It was a turbo motor). It was reliable and worked great too. I'd definitely pick Jason over Mark for tuning a Honda motor. For an all-motor setup if you are around Greensboro, then I also think that Howard down in Concord at RLZ is a better choice than Mark for making power with N/A Honda motors, seeing as I think Mark mostly tunes boosted Mustangs and Howard has done quite a bit of N/A honda motor tuning. RLZ also has the Dynapak dyno that used to be at Eurospeed, so he can do part-throttle and drivability tuning that you would ordinarily get with street tuning. Howard is a great guy too, he's built a couple of motors for me and I beat the hell out of those motors, and they held up just fine. So if you're up around Raleigh, Jason (jdogg) will hook you up, and if you're down by Charlotte, then head over to RLZ and talk to Howard.

Cool, you're just a few minutes away from RLZ, here's a map:

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/m...28025

Here's the Web site for the phone number:

http://www.hondaraceengines.com/

Edit - And tell them Roger sent you, it won't get you any special treatment, but I could use a few RLZ brownie points as I'm getting my new N/A setup ready for tuning now.

and yeah, nothing against mark, he tunes conservatively unless its an all out race car. check out RLZ down in concord, you wont be dissappointed. My new NA setup is there, going for 235+ oh yeah roger, this is casey, james(with the turbo integra) friend. PM me what youre hoping to make, and i had a couple other ?s for you

Changing that cat would probably help. What was your A/F ratio set at? Were your cam gears and ignition maps tweaked at all? Good luck with additional tuning, judging from the previous responses, its probably what would help the most.

thats LAME.

especially if its a daily driver. he'll want to tune it with exhaust, since he'll be rockin' some sort of muffler on the daily grind.
