i want to use a 3" v-bend in my exhaust. the only place i could find that sells them is apt, and they seemed a little expensive.

 

jegs sells em...2 flanges and clamp for around $50

 

Full-Race has them for $50 as well.
Stan at Fast-Turbo.com has them as well but I forgot how much they are.

 

try GSC they use the Vibrant ones, male female end so they seal really nice.

 

Jegs and it looks like Full Race as well sell the v-band clamp assembly with stainless clamps but mild steel flanges. Not sure what you were looking to make the exhaust out of but sometimes you gotta look at the fine print closely.
