now the v tec keeps kicking out ive checked everything i think ima get the valves adjusted

have u messed with anything else in ur car? like any wiring besides the motor there is a short somewhere

 

See, we just did the swap about 2 weeks ago, the car isn't even ready to fo through inspection yet. We thought it might be a short somewhere else, but its been impossible for us to find.

 

who the **** is hasford? maybe you mean hasport? how could you possbily mess it up thta bad?

Cry me a river. Ever hear of a Typo? Besides, the I bought the engine for Auto Imports in North CArolina and the harness was ordered by them from HASPORT. A person can't have more on their mind then the correct name of a company? Obviously, my car is fucked and you whiners aren't doing much to help. Such is life.

Geez guys relax, have a beer or 2, no need to fight over the internet. Now, was the harness just a plug and go type of deal?

 

yeah it was a plug and play set up the thing is that the lights dont turn on and the car stalls when u put any voltage to the system please help on that setup ie. when u hit the brakes and when u turn on the headlights...

 

that problem is solved now vtec will only work in 1st and sec gear please help?
