OVER HEATING CLUTCH? (SLIPS WHEN HOT) ???
so i just got a auto to 5spd... new clutch..its weird ever since i finished putting it in.. it runs flawless .. for about to 45 min then once it gets hot... all it does is slip it takes me 10 minutes to get 50 after a while... does anyone have any ideas? i try to turn the heat on full blast and sometimes it will get me like an extra 2 -3 minute driving so i think over heating anyone?
also one thing .. ive always had this .. they happen around the same time.. when the car gets hot just before slipping happens.. the idle goes to around 1500 rpm then later on idles around 2000-2500 rpm so goes higher when hotteR?
ill look in to what clutch is in there... how much is labour usually on a clutch swap? ... like an estimate.. i dont have the time to do it myself due to school
