Will a jdm cluster work ina usdm car??

I have a 96 gsr and i was wondering if a 94-97 jdm type r cluster would work in my car? I know that it will fit but will everything work? Could i drive around with it in if i wanted to?

yes, you can, all you need to do is remove the green piece on the back of your cluster, and put it on the new cluster. I just did it in mine.

Swap over the gauges and those black films with all the symbols on it. Easier to do and 100% gauranteed to work
