Hey guys i have a Alpine headunit cda-9813 and the mx button on it doesnt work anymore. The red light doesnt show up anymore when you push it and that button doubles all your sound basically. Any suggestions on what to do?

Not quite go to http://www.alpine.com for help on how to properly use "mx" you can click on Tech Center, then on Consumer Site, then type in CDA-9813 in the Quick Search box then download the owners manual PDF there is also an install PDF. Check it out, there are a lot of things that can be controlled on that HU. 94

 

Looks like you've turned MX off. Press & hold the MX button for 3 seconds or so. When MX menu appears on the screen set a desired MX mode with the rotary encoder.

 

ok thanks guys i took it to my local audio dealer and they reset the radio for me and its working fine now.
