What Trannies Will Fit

A buddy of mine says all trannies will fit a 87 crx si with a d15a3. Is this true? If not which ones will work? Im not looking for any type or numbers, just what stock vehicles they are out of.

yeah pretty much every D series tranny will work that i know of, there might be a few that dont tho

not true - only transmissions that fit are from 1g CRX or 3g Civic
