Default falling on its face

Ok my setup
b18b bottomend
b16a pr3 pistons
b16a head with rev valves and s2s1 cams with AEM gears
b16a tranny with LS 5th.
tuned with Hondata on a chipped p28
(tuned open header) but now I am running it though a Apexi WS catback

OK heres the deal....Just messing around on the streets. I lauch my car at like 3K or so and it takes off strong, shift to 2nd pulls decent (seems to act like a GSR ecu or some **** with IAB) switches into vtec around 4.5 but then seems to pull even harder at like 5.5k.....Well then shift to 3rd and bam down to 4.5K again and that **** acts like I just let off the gas completly.

Sorry if this makes no sense I am tired and ready to go to bed.

I am thinking maybe it is the catback that I put back on after tuning.
I made 190 whp and 140 wtq....Tuned by Stoney at Velocity.

it's probably tuning
try setting the v-tak xover higher than 4.5

why are you landing at 4.5rpm anyways? Don't you have a b16 tranny?

your vtec in engaging to soon because my hatch did that everytime at the track. until i took that jdm p72 small box ecu out because mine vtec came in at 45k

Did you play with your vtec engagement point after the vehicle was tuned ?
Vtec at 4500 rpms is probably your problem...
Engage vtec too early & loose power as you are describing.
