After driving car is really hot and smoke comes out but thermostat shows OK??
I just picked up a 92 Si hatch.. 250k on it ALL STOCK never been modded owned by an old guy ever since it was new. Not even lowered.
Afte driving it around a bit it will smoke when you turn it off and is really hot, I checked oil and oil looks good and has plenty, I checked the radiator fluid and it's full.. Inside the car the thermostat shows about 1/2 temp.. What could be the problem? It's not alot of smoke, just enough so that you can see it with the headlights on at night.. but it's def noticible..

The car is smoking and you want us to tell you where it's coming from? 
Go out when the car is hot and look for the source of the smoke. It's coming from somewhere and us guessing is kinda pointless when your the only one that could actually look at the car. I'm *guessing* it's leaking oil from the valve cover or something, but I have no clue.
