That's a good intake, but it does not dyno as well as the J's Racing or the Mugen intake.

i'm not sure tho if dynoing is accurate with short ram intakes..
don't short rams suck up hot air in the engine bay? and when the car is on a dyno, the hood is always open and a fan blowing, right?

Well, the other side of that is you'll find dozens of people who'll swear that the erstwhile advantage of the cold air tube in the fender or behind the parking light is purely apocryphal.
The only thing I can go by is the dyno, and that shows an advantage to the Mugen and J's over the Comptech Icebox.
This particular DC2 driver got rid of an Icebox in favour of another cold air intake, pictured above.

yah i sold my comptech icebox cuz i thought i was going boosted, then i got a j's racing when i decided to stay all motor.
my car is just bolt ons so i kinda liked the icebox better..because it wasn't so loud at WOT and it was legal..but dyno numbers don't lie i guess

JDMshit.com didn't make them, but Newman did have some available, and posted a thread about it a long time ago. It just uses a dryer hose style pick up on the bottom of the clamshell style box.
