Mounting a camera inside eg or outside? How?

Anybody here has a camera mounted outside their eg or inside? I would like to do something in that vicinity, wonder if I can buy mounting brackets for that. I've seen ppl do that on their car exterior.

Interior get something like a roll bar and mount it on that. Exterior you can use a web cam, suction cup, and a laptop computer.
