Default fuel cut relay?

the car: 92 "s" model -- h22a/tranny/ecu

after driving my car for an extended period of time, after i have turned it off. i cannot turn it back on...it wont turn over... i heard this is because of something called a "feul cut relay" or something like thaat? i have to wait 15-20 minutes to let the motor cool down before it will turn over again......

can this "fuel cut relay" be an easy replacement? and/or will it fix my problem? or is it that my car is just overheating...the temp guage doesnt go past half way but when i pop the hood after driving its very hot.... it did this with my old motor, but not as frequent so i didnt worry about it...

yeah that would be the main relay, or the pgmfi relay, as some would call it. those are located under the dash and easily replaceable. and it definitely sounds possible as being yuour problem by what you have described.

It wont turn over as the starter isn't working? That wouldn't have anything to do with the main relay.

dont think the starter would just take a 15-20 min break... sounds like relay...
