Thats when PSteering is nice.
If you do alot of highway driving then it's not really an issue.
If your doing most your driving in the city then psteering should be kept.

get rid of the power steerting and start taking creatine and suppliments. you'll have guns like arnold in no time and you'll have to beat the ladies off with a stick.
PRO:
Tighten your APEX Steering through corners or turns
More control at almost every single aspect
Great workout for your upper body
2.5-7 lb lighter - Varies from different chassis AV to DC5
CON:
If you don't work out as often you'll get red real fast
Parallel parking become a little bit more difficult
Might have to use 2-hand to Bust-A-U
Reason-2-Keep: Easy 1-hand operation at everything. Your family member or significant other might complain about the hard steering if removed.

Well, if I had 550 hp then I surely wouldnt let ANYONE else drive my car. Could you imagine letting your mom use your car and she wrecks it cause she cant handle all the power.
Anyway, I would keep PS if you plan on mainly using it in the city. But, if you plan on tracking the car or mainly highway miles then ditch the PS. Good luck with the build.

the chicks dig it.

Does power steering really take away that much hp, when your making 550 hp? I dont think it would really make a difference in power. I had an Ef hatch with no power steering and the front tires were pretty wide for the car, and it was pretty hard to turn, especially when it had low tire pressure. Integra's are alot heavier, and with 550hp your gona be using some wide *** tires to keep traction, So KEEP your power steering

keep the power steering...it reduces HP but **** you got over 400 soo don't think 5-6 extra will hurt!..not only that parallel parking is a bitch with out it! and there isn't much different in steering feel once you go faster then 20mph..feels the same!

just my opinion here... i have a 91 teg and i took the power steering out. just bought a civic rack from the '91' std hatch. fits like a glove but yo have to change the subframe too or the bushings just aren't gonna fit right. i havent put it in yet but i am all about less parasitic drain on my ride. my only issue that i have is, ??what tie rod ends???? someone please help cuz im a douche. can i use stock ends from my teg or should i use the civ ones? are they all the same for that era honda/acura?

Why do they say to junk it, so you can have 404whp?
Someone here makes a p/s removal kit that doesn't make it so bad on the turning, I forgot their name though.
