Civic '90 DX wont start
I'm having issues with my '90 Civic DX...it won't start.
One rainy evening, i went out driving to my girl. On a red light i stopped and when it was time to go, i gave it too little gas and it died. It would not start again. That was 2 months ago.
I have a new distributor cap and rotor in my car (6 months old at most), battery (3 months old), spark plugs (8 months old). I've checked ignition coil with a multimeter per Manual instructions and noticed too much resistance between "+" and "-". Got 1 ohm, was expecting 0.63-0.77. I first tried an igniter unit from a D15B1 and then from a D16A8 in the car, and neither of them would start the car. It's not throwing a spark. I took each wire off, held it close to the strut tower top and had someone crank the car. No spark was going off. On neither of 4 wires. I also had a brand new Champion spark plug connected to each wire and held it on the strut tower, and it wouldn't spark then either.
ECU is not throwing any codes.
I'm getting gas. I resoldered my main relay like a year ago, and i can smell gas on exhaust when i crank it.
My timing belt is intact. The rotor is spinning inside the distributor.
Have you ANY idea what's going wrong here?

For anyone wondering...the first igniter unit off a D15B1 appears to not have been working correctly. I took another igniter from another D15B1 and it made my car throw sparks. I will buy a new igniter and solve my problem.
Obviously you cannot mix igniter units from D16A8 (MPFI) and D15B2 (DPFI).
