RSX Type-S brakes are pretty big.......

I'm looking for a comparison between the Type-S calipers vs. 5th Gen's vs. NSX.........

Questions I have about the RSX-S calipers......

Are they twin piston or single? Specs?
How do they compare? (RSX-S vs. 5th Gen vs. NSX)
and ultimately....
Will they swap over to the prelude?

The RSX is a single piston design, and no they will not be a straight swap. Just use the Legend/NSX twin piston caliper with some aggressive brake pads and call it a day. The RSX has an upgraded caliper which comes by way of the MDX, still more work than it's worth for a Lude. The Legend/NSX caliper is a straight swap for most Ludes, so that would make the most sense in terms of OEM brake upgrades.

 

If you don't track your car, just get better brake pads and tires. That's all that you need.
