2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. Only 22700 on the odometer. 1 owner. Enjoy, sorry for the crappy pics, they are off my camcorder

So far I really like it. The power is always there and it has a firm ride. The R is feeling the pressure now, its gonna be tuff not to take this to summit next weekend !

Just reliability issues, and then help from the dealer. I recommend changing to steel braided brake lines.

Nice ride, I'm scared about the reliablity of it though.

Is the car on it's second clutch yet?

So, what did you pay? I'm assuming about 23K...

Why is that such a tough question?

I rode in dandc2's and I wasn't very impressed with them. I hope yours runs better than his, or maybe his just has some problems with it. Either way congrats on the new car.

Everyone I know with an Evo has already made plans to get rid of it in favor of something a little more reliable. Of the four people with them I talk to regularly, all of them have had some form of drivetrain malady, one is on his third tranny. The local dealership is not particularly fond of Evo warranty claims either.

I like those cars, but I'd be chasing a dream to have the same reliable fun I do in the ITR.

It takes forever to get the tranny off correctly.

Here's hopeing mine dosent suffer the same problems as the others.

The R is here to stay and will be handling most, if not all of the track time. I just needed a daily driver that was fun. I dont work non-stop for nothing

obviously you didnt do your homework prior to buying the car.

may ignorance be bliss finally

i'd say 80% of evo owners complain about one thing or another breaking on them within the first 40k miles.
