OEM products... Taiwan? Good or bad?
Just wanting some input from you guys who has had experianced with Taiwanese products.. to make a long story short, i called up this guy who owns his own business.. i asked him about parts for a 99-00 conversion.. he has all the parts but would need to order them. He tells me that the parts are going to be brand new but from Taiwan, my main concern is fitment issues.. he claims they bolt straight up like the stock one does no problem.. anyone have any experiance?
quality can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. ie, i bought a replacement taiwanese hood for my parent's previa, and it was paper thin compared to the stock hood. i bought taiwanese fender for my old accord, and it was fine. i'd try to find used OEM first
Without knowing the actual manufacturer, there is really no way to say whether or not the parts will be well-made. Simply stating that they're made in Taiwan means very little, and is basically the same as asking if "American" parts or "Japanese" parts are good or bad.
