When you first start the car and it's cold, when you step on the gas it takes a sec to ketch up. Kinda like bogs for a sec then kicks in. It does have a hondata intake gasket can this be the problem? Or am i just in need of some tuning. The car also ideals kinda funny, up and down.

 

shouldn't be a gasket, when was the last time you got a tune up?

 

well i think it may be the vafc needs some tuning, but i thought i read some where that the gasket from hondata can make it run kinda funny at first till it heats up.

 

Not sure about the gasket thing but if you have a chipped ECU or something, maybe you just need it tuned?

do your tune up,
oil change
plugs...check gapping
check timming
cap and rotor
check or replace plug wires
