Default NDRA World Finals.. Oct 15-16.. Norwalk Ohio where to stay??

Hey just a canadian looking for advince on the best place to stay, we wanna be able to chill out, drink some beer, talk about racing with racers and fans. I noticed there is a Best Western 5 miles from the trak and a Americana Hotel? Both look nice and decent price.

Where is everyone setting up camp for the weekend. Well be there with some canadian brew and looking for a good time. We have also heard rumors of the place called fantasy land.... its some backwoods barn with nekkid girlies.. hehehe

If you were recommneding to someone which one would you recommend.. the Best Western looks nice... but pictures can hide lots.

THe host hotel is a holiday inn and only $69 per night according to NOPI website. I'm going down for the action (hopefully). Should be booking hotel soon.

Greg let me know what hotel your thinking about, maybe we can set up Camp Canada or something... put all our asses at one hotel and party...

Were thinking about rippin donw on Friday afternoon/evening, just to get there and settled in and take in all the action Saturday-saturday night-sunday... Im pumped and getting excited. Its been a while since Ive gone to a US race. BTW... Steve_M will have to fill us all in on the fantasy land directions..

Cleveland Hopkins is the closest and is a ~45 minute drive out to Norwalk. Akron also has an airport but it is probably a good 1.5-2 hours away.

The Best Western and the Amerihost are both pretty nice. The Econo is crummier but the layout is better do to it only being one floor and everyone has a door right out to the parking lot. There is also a Super 8 another 7-10 minutes north of these hotels. I'm not positive where the Holiday Inn is though.

Not to be a smartass about which airport is closest. But does anyone know if it's possible to crossover the end of the drag stip to the regional airport on the other side of the road that intersects with the strip?
