with 18s,..i do not believe you will rub since you have 40 series tires....A good drop for 18s would prolly be the Tein S-Techs, or maybe the Neuspeed Sport springs

what are the specs of your rims? offset and width?
i know my 17x7.5 +40 offset rims rub when ive got the wheel turned all the way, inside the wheel well the front inside corner rubs against the plastic and body of the car. this is before and after tein s=tech 1.5 in" drop.

i wouldnt be surprised if you got some rub, just have someone sit in the car turning the wheel all the way both ways while you look in the wheel well and at the fender gap then while turned in both directions and straight forward have someone push down on your fenders to see if the tire touches the fender, if it gets close i still wont worry if i was you cus you probably wont com into that situation where your wheel goes in that much anyway.
after you see your problem areas either try to fix it somehow or just remember your limits and avoid them as much as possible (ex. i almost never turn my wheel all the way)
