Default Transmission/Clutch Question

I have a Dohc ZC with a 90-91 crx si tranny. My question is what model/year aftermarket clutch do I have to buy? Also, I see ACT says with their crx kits I need a 90+ civic flywheel to install their kits. Is that true with all companies or just their clutch?

Default Re: Transmission/Clutch Question (LurkerS8)

You need a 90-91 civic/crx clutch kit. A rule of thumb for d series transmissions is to match the clutch and flywheel to the year of the transmission.

88-91 civic/crx trans/clutch differences

88 different spline count, 200mm clutch

89 same spline count as 90-91, 200mm clutch

90-91-212mm clutch
