It weighs a good bit less. I had to rip all kinds of **** out of my 94 DX to get it in the same realm of weight as a friend of mine's 94 CX.

I drive a cx but its newer. At first I thought it was a bad idea to get a car with less optoins, but I am so glad I did! I love this car and know I would be less happy with a higher model

Yes you should get a CX, pretty much the same options except for the gay rear wiper and some instances AC. If your planning to swap the engine just go for a CX if not DX and swap the tranny out for and EX/Si

Now I know there are some really dumb people in the civic forum...but you have to be top 10.

i say CX too, somehwere in the stickies, B18C-EH goes into great detail on the differences between the different models, i think he says something about how CX's have basically zero sound deadening tar/goop. in other words, if you get a pretty loud exhaust, ur gunna hear that **** right through the honda sheet metal. (at least i do). so if you plan on getting any type of sound system, it might not be ur best choice, but if your stickign with just performance, than its definilty your choice. i got lucky with my CX, and it came with AC, but yeah, id definilty say pick it up, you'll definitly be happy with it.

the CX's do have sound deadening material, but it is spread very thin and in fewer places than the higher trims.

I enjoy my CX, dispite the poor shape the body is in. I certainly hear everything outside.

I still like my EJ8 more though.
